ThyssenKrupp Materials International, headquartered in Düsseldorf, is the holding company for all ThyssenKrupp Services AG companies in the materials warehousing and service business in Germany and abroad.

It has subsidiaries or associated companies in 20 European markets as well as in Asia and South America. These companies generate annual sales of €8 billion.

The key business areas are warehousing and service activities with processors of all types of materials in industry, trade and construction. The range - with different focuses in the individual markets - comprises rolled and stainless steels, tubes and pipes, nonferrous metals and plastics as semi-finished products.

Customers are supplied with standard dimensions ex stock or, where required quantities are sufficiently large, as drop shipments. Comprehensive cut-to-size services and other customer-oriented services under the motto "tailored materials" round out the offering. The sales organizations and infrastructure are systematically oriented to customers and their short-term and variable material needs.

Through the integration of the Apollo group, headquartered in Birmingham, United Kingdom, and with approx. 20 bases worldwide, ThyssenKrupp Aerospace has become a leading material supplier to the global aerospace industry.
